Don Brinninstoole 101st Airborne

Don was a tough Paratrooper who parachuted into Normandy on D-Day June 6th 1944.  He tells of the jump into the night and all of the fighting there.  He also fought in Holland at Market Garden under the British General Bernard Montgomery.  Don was also at Bastogne Belgium where he was completely surrounded by the German Army during the Battle of the Bulge.  Don was combat wounded.  If you go to Larry Martin’s World War II In Their Own Words website you can view Don Brinninstool with pictures of his medals and awards.
