Robert and Dorthy Hutchenson: B-17 Navigator
Enlisted in Army Air-corps February of 1942. Was a Bombardier but worked as a Navigator for 12 missions. Ran out of fuel, 8th AF 305 Bomb group made missions to Penaunde, Schwinefort. He went to University of Geneva as a intern, where he learned French and German as intern. Ran out fuel because his B-17 was old and had been shot up so it used more fuel. The Colonel put more bombs and less fuel. Hutch worked at the American Embassy in Geneva while an intern.
