This bio of Gisele Connor is being written by Larry Martin from notes and memory of the interview that I completed at my friends Ken and Connie Stuby in Zephyrhills Florida in Dec. 2014.
Gisele was born in France in 1922, though 92 she was a very beautiful woman. I was hoping to get a good view of what occupied France was like during WW II but, her parents moved to French Algeria in about 1930. She said that she never felt threatened by the German or American soldiers either sexually or any other way. She lived in Constintine Algeria which she described as a very beautiful city. In 1946 she married a American soldier and moved to the Pittsburg Pennsylvania area. She did talk about the Algerians saying they would not get a education beyond about the third grade.
