Dr. Eugene Bleil #1 Bataan Death March. New interview completed in Oct. 2011. This interview covers Dr. Bleil’s experiences from Dec 7th 1941 to April of 1942 of the actual fighting on the Bataan peninsula and the 6 day Bataan Death March. Dr. Bleil will be present at program to do a Q&A with audience.  He will tell of the six day march in nearly 100 degree heat with only a small canteen of water.   He had already lost about 50 lbs so all the men were already very sick and weak from the fighting on Bataan.  He had no food accept one rice ball about the size of a tennis ball.  The 65 mile trek took so long because of the number of men about 75,000 and the murders that were happening all the way along the march.
