Eugene Bleil MD

Part #1   Dr. Eugene Bleil tells about events that started on Dec. 7th 1941 thru April 9th 1942 including all of the fighting on the Bataan Peninsula through the end of the Bataan Death March.  Gene Bleil was a airplane mechanic in the Philippines when the Japanese attacked on 7 Dec. 1941.   He was given 15 min. of  infantry training and a WW I 1903 Springfield rifle.  He fought for his life constantly for the next 3 yrs. and nine months.    Dr. talks at length of  the entire Bataan Death March in this interview.    Dr. is 97 and tells this history so that ALL of us WW II history buffs will be able to better understand this horrific event THE BATAAN DEATH MARCH.  If you have any questions for me just submit them on the website and I will answer them.
